In Russell's world, there is no underlying meaning to anything (how could there be?), and beauty is strictly in the eye of the beholder. There is no free will, since in Russell's universe there are only two alternatives, strict physical causality or randomness, not self- determination. Self- awareness is an illusion, since "consciousness" would be diffuse throughout a system, with no summary point. There is no reconciliation between the "human world" and Russell's world. If one accepts the "scientistic" account, then one must acknowledge that the other is "mere appearance"........
