ok... then here's one for starters:

The Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-132).

uh... yeah in the past i'd thought you more of a 'free thinker' (that was supposed to be compliment), then for some reason recently i was lumping you in with the partisan types.

apologies for the misperception.

the conspiracy thread is 'conspiracy theories' in the coffee shop.

as far as i know it only has one posting to it thus far; about the drought in the nw and how it may be induced by something similar to 'haarp.'

i'll tell you one thing; as a local i've never seen weather like this before; many days are just this blanket of 'thin cloudiness' much more like a layer of smog than actual clouds. much of the 'rain' has been more of an 'oily, dirty mist.'

yesterday when driving out to issaquah on i-90 the air before the mountains was just chock full of particulates.

---There have been complaints in recent years that people have become too suspicious of government. I don't believe it is possible to be too suspicious of government----

perhaps it isn't this way in the rest of the country, but in seattle there are quite a few people who are suspicious; most them are left-leaning.

here is a joke i heard:

if the fed were to have an open house at area 51, and the people found nothing there, the people would be going, 'so where did they hide it?'
