When he lived up north a few years back, he was convicted of shoving his son's teacher, shouting obscenities on a street corner, kicking a cop and pointing a gun at his neighbor. He's also notoriously nasty to his wife -- though his many arrests for knocking her around have never led to a conviction. You don't know any of this, of course, and perhaps you'd rather not. But there's something else you don't know about your less-than-charming seatmate: He's carrying a loaded gun.
