There was a question of interpreting ambiguous Florida law. What does that have to do with the USSC?

The USSC is not there to serve as a political tool for the majority party.

Only one candidate, a Presidential candidate, looked for legal recourse...

Correct. That was Bush. He sued to stop the legally mandated recounts in Palm Beach.
