But what impact did all this deficit spending have on revenues? Wouldn't the high paying jobs in the military industrial complex created by deficit spending increase revenues?

Did revenue increase or decrease as a result of Reagan's tax cut?

After the 1981 cut and Dole realized that revenues were plummeting, there was a 1982 tax hike, a 1984 tax hike, and a 1986 tax hike. After three tax hikes, revenues went up.

Did you conveniently ignore the fact that Reagan signed the three largest tax hikes in history (at the time) into law?

Maybe a more objective way to evaluate the tax cut is to look at the effect on the deficit....this study may help shed light on the discussion...
