I am not joining the debate again, but I would hope those who wish to contribute either define their terms, or refrain from using them.

"Price-gouging," "common sense," just price, exploitation, etc., fail to clearly expand our understanding of anything. Anyone can invoke these terms anytime it suits their case and personal prejudice. Clearest example: 60 Minutes a few years ago did a piece on abstract art and $35k a buyer paid a seller for 3 basketballs suspended in liquid. Other sales chronicled large sums for white walls, gum balls, etc. Always wondered, who was "exploiting" or price-gouging whom? Cliches are not a substitute for reasoned analysis.
