Carl Everett retired (left DELL)

Doesn't seem unusual for him to liquidate the majority of his holding since he is no longer with the company

Kevin Rollins has been exercising options like clockwork when they become vested. Unvested options do not show up as part of his holdings in the company. I think you can look up history on his option grants and see that he still has tremendous holdings in DELL (thru unvested stock options)

I would not put much emphasis on Rollins regular diversification because he sold about 600k shares last qtr at $17 1/2 while MSD was buying 18 million shares.

Scott, the thing that bothers me most is that there is a price war going on and that benefits nobody unless a competitor will go put of business as a result. It does not seem like a plausible result, but Dogway could be acquired. It also seems like gaining market share in the fast moving consumer business doesn't go very far in the long run. Consumers will not have loyalty for long (especially with what I have heard, and experienced, is deteriorating customer service). If you have a problem with a Dell computer, it takes an hour or longer to get a live body.

:o)
