I think you have more faith in McNown than I.

August tends to be baseball's hottest, strangest month. At Wrigley Field on
Tuesday, plate umpire Angel Hernandez ejected, of all people, the
seventh-inning-stretch singer.

Before singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," former Bears defensive tackle
Steve "Mongo" McMichael referred on the public-address system to a
controversial call by Hernandez: "Chicago fans, don't worry about that
home-plate ump. Mongo will have a speech with him after the game." Hernandez
glared at McMichael, then gave him the ejection sign, according to the Chicago
Sun-Times.

"You know there's no security guard man enough to come and get me,"
McMichael told reporters. The umps didn't pursue the matter.
