You are welcome. I am trying to get more direct insight into the controversy, but it appears that some of the charges raised are bogus, and some are matters of legitimate disagreement.......

Hard for those who don't believe in Christ to understand. Easy for those who do.

I inherited my mother's soft teeth. Nice and straight, but prone to cavities. All my molars were crowned by the time I was hit my mid twenties, which means I had a lot of work done on them when I was a kid. I was in college before I ever had novacaine. The dentist there wouldn't work without it. I remember arguing with him that I didn't want it, so conditioned was I to the aura surrounding the pain. I had spent my childhood lying back in the dental chair thinking of Baby Jesus and focusing on the cowlick on the top of Dr. Sikora's head. I even had a molar pulled without novacaine.

I noticed that there's a new thread to post the dumbest things one ever did voluntarily. Perhaps I should post this story there. In retrospect, I can think of no other way to look at it.
