New York 23,671/sq.mi; Los Angeles 7,436/sq.mi

So Los Angeles County is 1/3 as large as New York State?

As I said, and as your link shows, LA has one of the highest population densities in the country. This would surprise most people who assume LA is sprawl city.

LA represents everything they hate:

But the planners promise to change all if we give then enough money and enough authority to make the people do what's good for them whether they like it or not.
