Don't be so dull, dog.....the only reason DELL is down more than CPQ recently is that it went up a ton more than CPQ in the first place....if you want to really look at a SCOREBOARD that measures something of substance other than a short-term relative stock performance (which certainly matters to shareholders but in the short-term is as much a reflection of stock market conditions as business conditions), I suggest you look at MARKET CAP and you will get an idea which company is considered the BIG BUTT KICKER....

DELL's market cap is $70 Billion
CPQ's market cap is $30 Billion

Oh by the way, CPQ has over 30% more sales (not for long) than DELL, and still isn't even worth half as much.......

GAME OVER.

Unless you have your head in the sand you know from a business perspective DELL is eating CPQ's lunch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few here are finally coming out of denial.......

Jimbo.

By the way rude, you might want to take another look at the 3-month chart you posted:

finance.yahoo.com

and also the 6-month chart (which you didn't post):

finance.yahoo.com

In fact for last 3 months (took Feb 1st as an easy start date), I just calculated CPQ is down over 25% and DELL is up approx 5%, whereas you posted CPQ was down 5% and DELL was down 10%....perhaps you had the chart twisted and were standing on your head.....that would appear to be about the only way you could come to your conclusion.

Looks to me like CPQ is getting it's butt kicked anyway...... if you want to talk short-term or long-term stock performance....

jajajajajajajaja

By the way, your 1-yr and 2-yr numbers are off almost as much as your 3-month numbers:

2-year actual Rude
DELL -37% -40%
CPQ -23% -8%

1-year
DELL -47% -50%
CPQ -41% -30%

Perhaps you chose to ignore the recent 20% drop in CPQ ????????????
