elmatador- This latest round of mobile wireless news coming out of Euroland sure is getting disconcerting. Really what they are saying is narrowband voice mobile wireless seems to be reaching saturation and without any further upgrades to do data, we are going to be going no where for a while. Qualcomm seems to be reporting kind of the same news today to about US market for CDMA.

slacker- Do you have any urls on most recent mobile wireless stats from around the world? I'll find my old one to do a comparison....From little over one year ago:

He's saying: We don't have a product for 3G/UMTS so the market is in disarray. so why deutsche Telecom and others decided to convert part of capex from 3G intop DSL, and others wire/optical projects
(facts and analysts comments, not Alcatel)
as fas as Alcatel the problem is with hendsets mainly.
Even NOK is slwoing down.
