Remember when first Cyrix and then AMD had the infamous P ratings to show that slower equaled faster? It didn't work then and it won't work now.

Actually, it worked great for Cyrix. But eventually the Cyrix designs fell so far behind in MHz, that even the PR numbers could not keep up with Intel.

AMD never had an IPC advantage, so they did not use PR ratings.
