Noxious Norton and the Toxic Texan have always been anti-environment. What worries me a great deal is that the government is very right-winged. While I worry about the environment, I am anxious about the loss of our personal liberties such as freedom of speech, the exchange of ideas in an open community. The Supreme Court's recent decision that would allow the police to arrest anyone who doesn't wear seat belt or litters nibbles at our freedom.. There is serious reason to believe that the police could arrest anyone on any pretense. The right-wing will try to silence us. It the way they will control society. Even here they try to do it. During Ashcroft's confirmation, I showed various people his past position on issues. They called him, "a fascist." These people are not particularly political in that they do not support a political party so I pay attention to their observations. If you do not answer this post, I understand, but I wanted to let you know that I worry seriously about the direction that this country takes. JMOP Sincerely, Mephisto
