Since we are discussing cramer, this is what he said today re PFE:

<<Buying MORE pfizer here as the feedback I get on Geodon is amazing! I am not alone in seeing the remarkable effects of this great anti-psychotic. People from all over the country who were on Zyprexa who are now telling me about their weight loss with Geodon. (Zyprexa makes most people gain weight.) Nobody is using big numbers for Geodon in their projections. This reminds me of 1985-86 when no one was using big numbers for Mevacor -Lovastatin (anti-cholesteral) drugs for Merck and the stock had a multi-year run . . . >>

Any idea what are the annual sales for Zypreza?

MIKE

"Isn't cretinism too little of something in him? Like intelligence! <vbg>"

As I remember, cretinism is caused by a trisomy (too much genetic material). As you point out, cretinism is clinically defined by iodine metabolism (too little). And the French, socially define CRAY-tin, as rectal hyperplasia (colloquially, "asshole"). I don't watch CNBC, so can't tell you whether Cramer has short fat fingers or a goiter, nor do I know which end of him faces the camera.

In defense of my conclusion, I point to the correlation of genetic cretinism with retardation. On this, we seem to agree.

I'm glad to see Mr. Stromberg migrate here from the semi-conductor world. Ian, do you see many other of your old confederates moving to biotechnology?
