<<<Yes, as an attorney and defender of individual rights, I am very concerned about the recent court decision which appears to give the police the discretion to arrest, handcuff and jail anybody they believe to have committed a minor offense such as speeding.>>>

I think I have to rethink my position. I agree with you both. Wonders will never cease.

The police could have arrested, handcuffed, and strip searched Junior George's daughter Jenna for underage drinking, but apparently they didn't. This offense, as was the one decided by the court, occurred in Travis County Tx.

wants confirmed. These people will be a threat to individual rights, according to the news
story. The next two years will be very difficult ones for the US.
