re Cops

The best thing about cops is that not only do they generally, as you note, have feeble minds, but they also frequently lie. This combination is a lawyer's dream. Mrs. Quahog has a general law practice (traffic violations, drunk driving, kicking down your girlfriend's door at 3:00 a.m. in a drunken stupor....she's your huckleberry), which frequently puts her in court cross-examining cops. You wouldn't believe how often she is able to show that a cop is lying by confronting him with his own reports, dispatcher's logs, tape recordings of the dispatcher's radio, video tapes from the station, etc. It happens several times a year...case dismissed. She has caught the same cop lying twice now in two different cases. After being proven a liar the second time, he received a promotion....no shit.

I have always thought that many people become cops only because they don't have the guts or intelligence to be successful criminals.

<<P.S. I do recognise they have difficult jobs, and they're human too. But I still love making the donut-shop jabs.>>

I once saw a cop car go through a drive-through donut shop with his lights flashing like he was chasing someone.

How can you tell when a cop is really dead?

As told to me by our sheriff- when the donut rolls out of his hand.
