Scumbria says the pipeline is all screwed up, even though he knows nothing about its "intimate details" If you were following you might remember Scumbria said Intel's original demo of an air-cooled 1.5GHz P4 on .18u process technology was "incredibly slimy". Meanwhile AMD has never demonstrated the ability to manufacture any large die device. EP

Otellini also said the fact that people would take a free computer was proof the public was accepting Intels CPU registration/ID number. Since phased out. He's also a marketing guy. Which figures. Scumbria is one of the few guys in the world that can design a CPU in a relatively short time that is actually manufacturable. Vague maybe, but pretty "right on' about the scaling, so far. Jim
