Carl, Since you're stuck off in software land, you don't have a front row seat to watch this happen, ... I don't know what gives you that idea - I would have thought that my posts over the last year or so might have suggested that much of my time is spent in hardware design. By the way, did you get around to calling up Infineon and order a copy of their datasheet for the x32 300MHz DDR chip? No - I don't need it at the moment. If a datasheet has not yet been published it is often possible to obtain preliminary data in exchange for information about the intended application. (You know all this of course - its just that you were recently suggesting that perhaps I did not.) I don't believe in messing around manufacturers for something trivial when I might need their goodwill later for something really important. Anyway, you said yourself that getting datasheets (that are not on their web site) from Infineon can be difficult. I have every confidence that when you obtain the data you will let us all know. Wait until after the lawsuit stuff is over, which is far more exciting I think that will take quite a long time. John
