Scumbria, You could say I have a comfortable life, but I did not abandon my dream to get it. My dream turned into something of a nightmare even as I lived it. When I started in it, everyone in the organization I work for thought it was the best organization in government. The general public and entertainment media recognized it as so, and it was. People like you, Green Piece, Sierra Flub, and other unholy coalitions twisted up their dreadlocks and demonized it. It's now a politically correct mess, eagerly gobbling up the budget that is needed to cope with the morass of agents from the dreadlocked coalitions. There are still a lot of the old guard left. They can see some positive signs, but most of them can't wait to get out.
