Colonel: Good to hear from you again. I thought you were one of the smart ones and abandoned this thread after your boy was selected president.

One thing I've observed about Limbo over the years is that he's very afraid to step out of his very controlled environment. Only cavorts with like-minded right-wingers ... at golf tournaments, for example. You never see Limbo on a college campus ... fielding questions from students, like McCain and Buchanan did last year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only time I've seen Limbo on TV (after his ill-fated TV show) has been one-on-one with softball interviewers like Russert. O'Reilly, for instance, went one-on-one vs. Carville on TV recently. Limbo, I believe, is incapable of doing such, because he has a very controlled act, and honest debate would expose Limbo for what he is ... all show and no substance.

Contrast William F. Buckley's "Firing Line" ... in which Buckley debated the likes of J.K. Galbraith and the top liberal thinkers of the day ... to the trash talk radio that is so prevalent nowadays, with Limbo playing the role of godfather of right-wing trash talk.

Limbo couldn't carry Buckley's clipboard.
