I prefer coffee grounds for killing snails. Lot less guilt, and no mess. Just sprinkle the coffee grounds around plants or over your lawn. Use regular coffee, decaf. This is very important. Also, this method works best in the city rather than in rural areas.

Works like a charm. The snails run out into the street without looking and get killed by passing cars.

Take those beer-marinated slugs, put them on skewers, fire up the BBQ, voila' shiska-slug! Cook to taste and dip in a light mustard sauce.

Gee, cjac...nothing like being on topic!! LOL! <g>

By the way, the slug trick really does work for anyone that might be curious!
