Actually, I think the "Got Gold" concept was Rarebird's. That idiot GATA, or gold wannabe cartel should take his idea and run with it. Why do you own your one oz of gold? Perception, pure and simple. A good "Got Gold" campaign would do more for the gold market than any SA gold research, market enhancement study teams, ABX hedging, and all the others of the XAU stupid mining ideas combined. A full-fledged TV, newspaper, radio advertised, bumper sticker "Got Gold" campaign could add 30% to the price of gold in a month. The metal is yellow, soft, and not good for more than holding. Perception in holding is everything IMO.
