Dear Scumbria: I cant agree with you there. A tax cut means just that, those that pay get a cut. Obviously if percent cut the same one who pays more in will get more back but the higher bracket will always be paying more then the lower bracket. The point of a RATE CUT is that as one moves into the higher bracket one doesnt have to pay as much as before. A rate cut is the ONLY fair way and since I am retired it wont behoove me anymore like it once could have, but I am for it as I understand how important it is to offer HOPE for those coming UP the ladder.
