John, Intel should spin off the Comm business as soon as it turns up, which will probably happen within a year. Keep making chipsets, motherboards, put extra resources into StrongArm, a superb product, and forget about trying to make consumer stuff like keyboards, cameras, MP3 players, networking cards and wireless hubs. Flash memory, I'm unsure of. Not much synergy with CPU's and processing. If the market for it re-exploded, sell it. Acquisition of ATI Tech would make a lot of sense, but I don't think the FTC would or should allow it. Petz
