I have for the last eighteen months have been documenting how little market share RDRAM has ben getting since the rollout of the 820 platform. If I believe the recent statements that only 1/5 of Dell's sales are P4, RDRAM is still less than 5% of total memory production.

However, I stick to my prediction that by Sep RDRAM/SDRAM price difference will shrink to 20-30% based upon the fact memory makers can not afford to sell DRAM below a price that leads to a healthy profit. Hyundai and Infineon have learned this fact with a little more impact on their bottom lines with their insistence on focusing on SDRAM sales.

I think most of our differences are based upon your "RDRAM never in my lifetime" slant.
