I think ALA is not in the wireless picture and have all the reasons in the world to slant all its views towards ADSL.

Those days I'm taking any views on the future of the telecom market with a grain of salt.

Mike, analysts on ALA cc cited DT as an example and in discussion everybody concluded that such shift is good for access like DSL and LMDS.
DT has announced months or two ago big extantion of DSL and gave contracts to Alcatel and Siemens.
Thses are facts which elmo is denying or do not what to talk at all.
Instead he like to bring some articles, sometimes not related.
Lets make it clear , the guys stated long time ago that he works for Siemens Wireless Div.
He loves wireless, regardless if this technology can or can not provide spacific services (price/performance)
He do not like optics too.
I think his statements are sometimes an act of desperation that wireless hype, to some extend only of course, did not materialize.
According to elmo all carriers , deploying DSL and collecting bills with profit are wrong.
Texas Int., Alcatel, Siemens (elmo employer) are all wrong.

I am slowly starting to ignore his posts and will not be surprised if I stop responding to his naive statements about DSL.
