John

I got the asus A7A with the ALI chipset.

It was suppose to be ready Thursday, it was not. I went there today to see what the deal is. They do not have 1.33 Ghz, and their distributor does not have it either. They said they are in allocation and 1.33 is severely back ordered. Apparently AMD cut the price a bit too much.

I changed my order and settled for the 1.2 GHz which they have in stock. It only saved me $11, which explains why everyone wants a 1.33. While I was there they sold 3 other AMD CPU's. All 3 Durons. 2 systems and one CPU. AMD should gain another point or two in market share this quarter. Maybe as high as 25% by the end of the year. But I think they will make less money than they did with only 17% market share. I may change my short position from AMD to INTC.
