Wes, I recently ordered a DELL which I will describe shortly. However, the computer box looks like it fell off the assembly line. The DVD/CD burner and CD drives don't fit the slots, the disk drive doesn't work and they did not double the DRAM and HDrive as promised in the promo. I have called for a replace and though I requested some changes, I was told that it was not possible as I can only trade for similar specs. I requested a video card that would run the two 19" monitors I ordered, the card ordered from ATI never did arrive and was told they are backlogged till mid May. After calling around I did track one down locally, a 32 MG ATI Radeon VE. I was told WIN 2000 was more stable however, as we discussed earlier, it does not have the drivers to properly function a multi monitor set up. Today, FedEX arrived with a PC of identical specs, but they also sent another monitor, and speakers. ( I selected the Lucas DVD approved unit with surround sound and a subwoofer). Thanks again for your help, will send this one back, and go with the changes you suggested. However, I am running 98 2nd ed on two other systems here with the same hook-up ie dual monitors and feel it is better then Me. All systems are hooked to a router with a DSL hookup. Cable as a back up.

SHARCK....
Thanks to you and WES for these suggestions... I really appreciate it. Knowing what to buy is more important than knowing where to buy it...
Thank You

You can get the matrox G450 from dell as an option. I did, but it was probably not worth the effort. They weren't used to this set-up. Listed it as customer install. Best wishes, N1
