(WIBN), the wholly owned subsidiary of Global Tree, entered into a worldwide licence agreement with Total Connect Communications Inc. (TCCI) to distribute the Rhona Raskin show, syndicated as the Rhona at Night radio show and the Best of Rhona weekend archive. Rhona at Night can be heard nightly from Victoria, B.C., to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. This will mean that WIBN and MYCityRadio, through the Rhona at Night radio show, will be exposed to the potential listening audience of over 90 radio stations across North America. The potential listening audience of the combined radio stations that the Rhona at Night radio show is currently syndicated on exceeds 10 million listeners. WIBN anticipates a dramatic increase in advertiser recognition and participation in its advertising campaigns, with the addition of the Rhona at Night to the content schedule. In an Arbitron press release on Feb. 27, 2001, Larry Rosin, president, Edison Media Research, stated, "Streaming media is a great way for advertisers to target the younger 12- to 24-year-old market." Mr. Rosin added, "These consumers are more likely to be on-line using streaming media and have a higher tendency to interact with advertising." WIBN intends to sell the advertising inventory made available during the Rhona at Night broadcast schedule and deliver said advertising to its audience through its Web site, known as MYCityRadio.com, its network of MYCityRadio affiliated Web stations and Rhona's own Web site, Rhona.com. WIBN will use its e-targeting ad insertion technology, together with the streaming media services of Total Connect Communications Inc. to deliver the Rhona content in audio/video format to its Internet audience.
