Oh, yeah! Have already heard of the local city councils applauding the additional tax revenue they are reaping from higher energy bills, since the city, county or state add their tax on to the bill total. And since the energy bills are anywhere from 30-60% higher, local government is profiting from this with higher tax revenue!!

The most recent rate cut spiels I am hearing is we get 50 basis points by June, just whether we get it in one shot or two.
