He likes me (or at least I think he does, and I like him) and I see myself as a very strong woman. Kholt is a very strong woman too, and Solon isn't a bit scared of her

100% correct! AK (edit: I mean, AJAY) is like a comet that comes from who knows where. I try to humour him when he is incomprehensible; he does make points sometimes, but he is all over the ship's deck...

You are afraid of a 19 year old girl? I think not! You are afraid of that 19 year old girl's God. Don't feel like you are alone though as many of those who thought they were somebodies thought the same way. God uses her to deliver the country of France and as a payback they allowed the enemy to execute her. Why......? They feared her too!

After facing three harrowing weeks of inquisition she at last was free to lead the army. On her departure she exclaimed, "I thank our Lord that he has freed me from the tortures of the narrow-minded clerics."

On May 8, 1429, the French captured Orleans, the English stronghold. The townspeople surged forth to see Joan in her shining armor, for they believed that God, who in times past struck down Goliath with a stone from a shepherd's sling, had also indeed raised up the daughter of a peasant farmer for their deliverance.

When she was captured and tried by the ruling counsels the major charges directed against her were not crimes against humanity but heresy against their church! She, in the end certainly died a martyr. Instead of wearing a crown of thorns like the Lord did they placed upon her head a dunce hat bearing the inscription, Apostle, Backslider, Heretic, Idolator and than led her to the stake to be burnt.

Oh well let the world think what they want. Though I am way out of her league she has captured my heart and some day in heaven I will meet her and ask her of her exploits.

Chris
