80.5 Million short? Looks like about 25% of those were under 20 on average, and another 25% under 18 on average. I wonder if that explains the range WCOM is stuck trading in? Of course some of these shorts are arbitrage related.

Market and Tech look down today. WCOM has been up when this has occurred recently.

OT Tom - curious problem in your short list posting, it's invisible!

It came up blank in my Netscape 4.75 window, though your explanatory text is there (I have white backgrounds)

But now when replying I see the list in the "Responding to", it's bolded, but not in the same font (and the list can also be seen either in viewing page source or copying/pasting the message somewhere like to a composer window)

When I tried IE the list was jumbled, as if all lines overprinted on one line, and Netscape 6 didn't work either!!

I have an old IE, I never use it unless there's a problem like this and haven't upgraded since loading my NT4.0 system on my laptop a few years ago. And though I have Netscape 6, it's so dog slow I never use it either. What they could have done to make a simple browser dog slow is beyond me, it must be that Java/Gecko language. They'll find ways to piss every cycle of the future generations of processors away, that's clear.

Anyhow, I've seen a few quirks on SI but this was a new one!

Thanks for the numbers. Yeah peculiar indeed. I'm holding. Downside seems minimal here.
