With all the greatest respect to Allen Benn and many other extremely intelligent people on this thread, none of them have a da_____ clue where this stock is going to be next year or in 5-years. I've traded WIND hundreds of times mostly with a positive bias and held a fair bit in my long term account. I did quite well last year when the mania was on and sold at 61 I think it was. It may take an awful long time to get back up there.
That said, when Allen posts it does get me going and really believing in the future. How many people do we know that use web enabled devices, have networks in the home, can talk to their toaster from their car, turn on the Jaccuzzi on their way to the cottage, have picture frames on their walls that change landscapes from their computers? I don't know anyone but then I'm a hermit. The future is on it's way but only time will develop the real story.
The first time I ever heard of WIND was in Fortune mag 3-4 years ago as a company to watch. When I found this thread and Allen's posts I thought we couldn't loose. There have been a lot of potholes along the way for sure. But I'm still in the stock and still hoping for the lily ponds to start turning green from leaves and not from algae.

I bought WIND in 1997,1998,1999,2000 and I am at a net loss in this stock after 4 years. Is it always going to be next year?

That statement could apply to a huge number of tech stocks at this point in time. I can certainly understand your frustrations as I have been an active acquirer of this stock since fall of 1996 with my last purchases a few weeks ago in the 18-19 range. At low points in the market your investments tend to look horrible, but this market will get legs again and I fully expect WIND to participate and if you have been an acquirer during the bad times your portfolio should look great.

Good Luck
