Hi Khan,

I am going to decline to post the lily pond link. The site is still up, but the numbers are so misleading that I'm sure it's tortious for me to publish them, knowing their falsity.

The status of the site is as follows:

I have obtained a windows 2000 server account which has allowed me to develop a database of articles supporting the numbers. This makes it very easy for any web page viewer to immediately verify the numbers in the model--that is, to make sure they are in agreement with up to date industry reports. I will also provide an e-mail listserv signup for updates, a glossary of tech terms related to each market, and full laymen's descriptions of each market. A more difficult task will be compiling key customer lists for each market, but I hope to do this by summer's end as well.
I will register a lilypond domain name shortly.

The numbers are still being revised. School is taking up 100% of my time, but I will spend significant time each day starting in 2 weeks. Some issues are as follows:

1. aggregation of demand (total subs), rather than yearly new subs + churn.]

2. Overlap of network processor market with DSl customer premise equipment and optical switching.

The issue of WIND's involvement in infrastructure is particular fuzzy, and I will be in touch with management to hopefully get a better picture of these markets. I think part of the problem is that WIND spends much more time talking about consumer electronics than networking because the products are more visible and sexy, therefore providing a more interesting marketing opportunity.

I hope this has been helpful,

Brian
