DMA, Eliminate the capital gains tax and slash marginal tax rates back to Reagan era levels and then even more. The economy will gallop ahead For most of the last 5 years, the economy has been growing as quickly as the Fed will allow (3-4%). It doesn't make any sense to try to grow faster than that, because it will cause inflation and higher interest rates, and the Fed will force growth back to 4% anyway. Any plan to pay off the debt must be based on reality. Scumbria
