It is easy to see the benefit of car airconditioning, if one imagines driving through Death Valley in the summer. Is there a similar situation that makes the need for HDTV very obvious?

Duh....Jennifer Lopez oscar.com

Cary,

You're on a hot streak tonight! <g>

Re car AirConditioning and Death Valley: But what ever is the need to drive through Death Valley?

Re Number of legs to raise for a broker to salute its customers: I didn't know that bitches had to raise any legs in order to piss on anything. <LOL>

Re need for HDTV: Pornography of course. Same reason as the justification of the Internet. Actually the real need for HDTV is to justify the rollout of 300mm, Cu and 0.10µ and below feature sizes.

This one is more akin to the argument for upgrading one's home theater system to DTS from AC3 Dolby. To some, the additional quality justifies the cost. To others, it's completely irrelevant. Or perhaps its like the field of dreams. Build it and they will come.

Have a good week end,
Ian.
