Pat,

No doubt Californians are toughest people in the west. I have lived all over the west, and am amazed at how nothing fazes folks over there.

Gridlock, earthquakes, floods, mudslides and fires are an accepted part of day to day life in CA.

Dear patricia, I would respond that those who live in places known as tornado alley could claim far more bravado than the California quakers. On some might argue about who is the dumbest. The facts are that none who live in such areas think much about calamity and never expect it to hit them. As to tough lot. An energy crisis like that in California is caused by soft minds sitting on soft bodies.

But patricia I have a question(s) for you or any of the nuclear power nay sayers.

In American there are currently 104 nuclear plants and they product 20% of the electricity.

Questions.
1. If one had a football field how high a pile would be created if all the waste from all these plants since they started operation were put there.

2. How many people have died from the generation of all of these plants.

3. How many ton's of greenhouse gases have been produced by these plants.
