The algorithm for the Hot List... is pretty wacky. I imagine that it is based on a percentage increase out of the total postings. I write these things and have observed this over time with SI. Geez, I tried to roll thru the post here for the day and gave up. Guess you all are having fun though! Wish I were around during the day! It reminds me of the "Kimberly" days, but with more high-tech snags.

"The new MG is back at #1 on the hot list, an hour ago it wasn't on there at all. How can that be? " It seems odd. I suspect that most of the activity is based on the bookmarking function. People who have been reading this thread have turned to that thread. There are many people that didn't pay much attention to the Luke vs Jenna spat. However, the interest escalates as more people are maligned and more information comes out as to Pristine, The Executioner, and Market Gems. Jenna might have started a new thread because of the bizarre thread header changes. It appears that there is a close association with Pristine and The Executioner. Jenna admitted that there was a conflict of interest. I still don't understand why Tony Nunes denies any association other than paid advertiser and developer of the website. If that is all it is, why would there be a conflict of interest? Jenna clearly stated the The Executioner would be their "preferred discount broker". It never appears that she discloses the connection between the broker and the stock picking advisory group. The fire is getting hot. Does anyone have connections in White Plains, NY. I would be interested to see if their address is just a drop box.
