What is everybody doing posting on SI on a beautiful Saturday afternoon? Twas better than what I did today... fried my back, arms, face and neck cutting an laying sod. Man, oh man, am I ever sore (and burnt). A good thing happened today Jane. A man came asking for money for Malachi House. He launched into his spiel and mentioned a few words about God and Christ. I stopped him and said I only have one question... "What's your testimony, brother?" The man told me about being in and out of prison, of being on drugs, of surrendering his life to the Lord, and of being apart from his wife and kids in Michigan so he could come to North Carolina to clean up. Now, when that man first walked into my yard, I thought "Great, another magazine or miracle cleaner salesman." Shame on me. That dude is out there sharing his story, and it's a wonderful thing. I thought about that man all day and it really made my heart glad to see his (and His) works. Sam PS Yes, of course I made a donation. :-)
