Actually the only reason AMD exits is because Intel lets them and needs the competition to keep DOJ off their back.

Just like G.M. and Ford for years needed Chrysler to survive.

I thought the primary executive deadwood was made cto to make sure he stops inflicting damage.

At some point, the buck had to stop somewhere and someone must be held accountable for the i820/camino launch.
