Mar$, long time no see :-) Message 14281297 You actually got on my thread before I did. LOL.. Just ventured over to mention my father, professor of philosophy and law though long since retired has devoted a large part of his golden years researching historical evidence and is loosely tied to the Jesus seminars. His belief through scriptures, Dead Sea Scrolls and other writings is worth sharing. Perhaps I can get him to share some of his thoughts on this subject with many of you. Good reading, John Sharck

With Love There Is Nothing To "Get Over...." >>So the information age has zapped alot of cherished citadels down to their foundations , and a whole new approach to scholarshiop and history must begin. As well as the opening up of an entire new universe of tolerance. I wouldn't try to over~idealize Mother India , or the Buddhist Asia , but I would suggest to those who think it is their mission to go out and teach their truths to first be aware , that they are trying to teach the ones who were already the authors and enrichers of their own beliefs. Hinduism and Buddhism are old , and Christianity and Islam just babies by comparison. And to the Hindu , there is even a greater religion/Truth older than theirs , which gets right down to the universal Eternal truth problem . They worked this out probably centuries before Moses... Our calendar in the West starts 2000yrs ago, in the East they are up somewhere near 4000. It would just be so much easier for the Holy See in Rome if India, Hinduism and Krishna would just disappear ...but that just isn't in the cards this go around.>> Mars: If there is only ONE God, then as the universal creator and source of everything He is intimately aware of all things, including the comings and goings and particulars of what man seeks define, control and enshrine in these competition-based fear boxes which we pass as "religion." I have ZIP/ZERO/NO problem with Hinduism, Mohammed, the Bahai's or whatever and whomever anyone or anything wants to worship. Why am I saying this? Because I believe in the Divine Providence of God's Love. His Love is ALWAYS ON, ALWAYS "out there" infusing, connecting, caring, seeking, enjoining anyone and everyone who humbly asks to be "showed" the truth in the simply private sanctity of his/her own church/temple - ie. mind, body & soul. Regarding the power of information and openness, yes I believe we are living a wonderous time when all these Wizard's of Oz in and around religions, corporations and governments are going to all be unmasked. But please notices that this "unmasking" is going to be self-generating. For when the light of Love is applied to a once dark room, all that was hidden gets exposed. And all those who were selfishly cheating, lying, using, abusing and stealing from others will get exposed naturally. And their ACTIONS from there on out to attempt to cover up the truth will implicate and judge them. This is the powerful natural of truth and light which is Love. We are seeing and feeling and sharing more and more of it. We all need each other in this process of recreation and rediscovery of what's real and true. And there is no competition. And there will be fewer and fewer images to worship which only serve to distract us from the truth/reality of ONEness. Don't let anything I say or write about Jesus Christ being Lord distract you from your simple, private, personal quest to get to know God on a deeply personal basis. I respect you as a person and your rights as they are based in the FREEDOM from God our creator which we are all blessed to receive on a continous basis. Peace. Light! ONE! GO!! Note: and don't let P, L, O & G!! be a distraction either. Peace. Light! ONE!! GO!!!
