How long has Mexico been in existence? Why is it the Mexicans flee their country to come here for a better life when they have had thousands of years to get it right? . .

Bush is tremendously popular with Hispanics in Texas. He only got several points less than Gore, who got low 50% of the Hispanic vote in Texas. There will be a tremendous political shift in the US within the next 20 years. Mexicans are very conservative, but vote Democratic. For now. In Texas the shift is already happening as Mexican families enter the middle class. Bush, by the way, won the governorship by a landslide, riding into office on the Hispanic vote - against a very popular Democratic governor. Derek
