I actually like your idea of shorting GE here. I might do so tomorrow.

the 200 moving average is around 51 which should enormous resistance.

Also, if I remember correctly, GE has a nice history of recent warnings. Correct me if I'm wrong on this.

This would be a technical short. Chart looks nice for shorting. Target probably 45-46 for a reasonable retrace
Only thing I didnt like about the chart:
if we draw a trend line using oct6 highs and dec 11 highs, we see that GE closed above that trend line friday.

But , compared to the 200 moving average line, this is a minor point for now.

I think this is a good risk reward trade.
Starting with a full position is very reasonable
