Hi Suresh,

What do you think about the X-Box as a possible driver of growth for Microsoft ? I think I read over the weekend that the original Playstation was at one point responsible for 40% of Sony's profits.

Hi Suresh,

I think MSFT still has it supporters despite the lack of a true growth engine. I think what people are still willing to buy into is the 15 billion in cash, investment in cable and media assets and the ability to buy into the next trend. Keep in mind that MSFT has never been a great innovator, only a good imitator. It can dominate market segments through the use of its deep pockets and it marketing machine. One has to only look at how MSFT held up better than other tech stocks to know that the institutions are not ready to abandon ship just yet. That said, I agree there are better growth stories.
