"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

really. that's a fair question, imo. some of the info that pw came up with ( #reply-15767452 ) left doubt in my mind along this basic good or bad line. i'm not saying that her info was bad. not at all. i'm saying that with her info, things now look quite cloudy.

like a gas gauge at 100% would be good, but a temperature gauge at 100% wouldn't. in fact, pw's reply included this statement (and i am assuming these are her own words because i see no quotation marks nor quoted source to indicate otherwise), "A system enjoying 100% LRU success means that all cache requests have been filled efficiently".

the mcafee tech's response ("i can tell you it is not normal @ 100% but i need the rest of the info" ) says otherwise.... maybe. <g3>

but i think cush is on it now, and we'll soon learn more.

:)
