>> Do y'all think the fed meeting will cause a surge in the market, or will it be a sell-the-news event? <<

It depends Johnny Q, wouldn't it be a hoot if we got a 75 basis point cut?

CSCO's earnings or lack thereof aren't what is going to move the market, that's already known. If their future guidance has even the slightest hint of encouragement, the NAZ surges forward, even if it's unjustified.

I'm waiting for after-hours, anything else is guessing for me.

Johnny Q, are you listening to the Nuclear Power debate on CNBC?

The opposition to nuclear power used Germany nuclear power failures of 15-20 years ago as an issue today. When they were told technology today is totally different; since they couldn't get us with facts, the opponents immediately go for emotions.

Kinda funny, actually.

I am maintaining a short position on QQQ.

Here's one of Kurt Wulff's analyses that was, I think, offered for sale briefly at $90 but now can be viewed for free. It was his comments that got me into SJT at about 11.
