Surprised that SMOP is not moving closer to parity with the merger meeting taking place today in Houston. Hope the merger takes effect immediately. Not sure what exactly is parity since we don't know how many shares PEX will issue but it has to be slightly north of 4.71. PEX is holding nice and steady at 10.20....oh now I see why it is so steady....it hasn't traded since last Thursday...Hmmmmmmm.

Jim Bob,

Wrt "KB, looks like your $5,000,000 cyber buck prize got their attention. I may have to give the winner your address?"

That won't be necessary (or even advisable). Provided that each of our contestants has a functioning CD-Rom Drive (16X max or higher), then, with a properly encoded password (which I shall provide) and a functioning version of MSFT Windows 3.1 (y'all have that, don't you?), then the e-cash transfer is very easy to do. No wire transfer charges. Trust me, or the name on my birth certificate isn't Kodiakbull.

Regards,

Kb

Contest Entry
Hi jim!
I don't usually enter contests, but the possibility of raking in the big cyber-bucks is irresistible!

I like the outside track here, where there's a little elbow room.

Put me down for 127.0625 please.
Based on a possible revision of last weeks oil #s downward, & possible administration statements & other possible surprises.

I've been standing aside from oil/NG for a while waiting for better entry ops, but I think you fellows are playing with fire by shorting here. I don't think there's all that much downside in the OSX, & I wouldn't be too surprised to see it turn & run. This is not the environment to short into, imho. I respect your experience, but I don't agree that oil's going sub $20, & I think NG weakness will be temporary. This is a pause, not a reverse in the prospects of energy-related companies, imho. OPEC isn't going to fall apart & send the oil price tumbling. NG use continues to increase. I don't think $2NG is coming back. All the NG dependent industries that shut down will be back on line somewhere sub $5NG but well above $2NG. Consumption & depletion will continue. Etc etc etc.

Jmvho, of course

regards,
diana
