Miracle Entertainment to Produce 'Six Bullets From Now' With Ridley Scott THURSDAY , MAY 10, 2001 08:25 AM LOS ANGELES, May 10, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- 1st Miracle Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MVEE), a diversified film and production company, today announced it has optioned the rights to Christian Darren's original screenplay "Six Bullets From Now", as well as Christian Darren's services. Stephen Kay will direct the film. Miracle Entertainment's Jason Zelin will produce the project with Ridley Scott (Director of Gladiators) and President of Scott Free Productions, Lisa Ellzey. Tony Scott (Scott Free Productions) and Tony Cataldo (CEO of Miracle Entertainment) will be the Executive Producers. "Six Bullets From Now" is a true story about the largest hotel heist in history, in which five gunmen stole over one million dollars in cash and jewels from New York's Pierre Hotel in 1972. Director Stephen Kay most recently directed "Get Carter" for Franchise Films and Warner Brothers starring Sylvester Stallone and Michael Caine. He also directed the indie feature "The Last Time I Committed Suicide", starring Keanu Reeves and Thomas Jane. Kay is currently directing the MTV film "Wasted". Screenwriter Christian Darren also wrote "Wipeout", which sold as a spec to The Canton Company with Matthew McConaughey attached to star. "Count 3 & Pray", set-up at Disney, is a remake of the 1955 classic "Vera Cruz" which Christian developed with Director Ron Shelton. Lastly, Christian sold "Bait", a pitch based on the book "Bait", that AMG will produce for Alcon Entertainment. Finley Glaize, VP of Development at Miracle, brought the project into the company and will oversee it along with Zelin.
