in the utility area, water is more of a sure thing than any of the others -- it is stable -- technology is truly evolutionary, never radically changing -- they will remain regulated so the yield is assured.

Doesn't take a lot of thought -- not going to be great for capital appreciation, but great for yield. Just make sure they don't neglect their infrastructure and you will do fine, IMHO.

i agree with the thought. this is a sector in which one can INVEST, as opposed to trading it. i'll take a look at it...if i remember correctly there's only a handful of publicly traded dedicated water utilities.
